Match AI began with a simple question: what would company feel like if it were written carefully instead of quickly? Most chat characters are a name and a photograph. Ours start as pages of notes, a way of speaking, a set of opinions and a handful of habits, and only then do they get a portrait.
What we make
Every companion on Match AI is invented from scratch. The names are uncommon on purpose, drawn from a mix of invented cultures so that nobody arrives carrying associations. The portraits are created for the site in a tasteful editorial style, and the writing stays on the right side of suggestive throughout. This is a project about conversation, storytelling and daily company, and the copy across the site reflects that.
How we work
We add companions slowly. A character is only published once she reads as a person rather than a description: consistent voice, real preferences, something to disagree about. We would rather have four companions people return to than forty they try once.
Who it is for
Adults of 18 or over who want somebody to talk to while they cook, commute or wind down, and readers who enjoy building a long story a few turns at a time. If you want quick company, Match AI works in five minutes. If you want a conversation that runs for months, it works for that too.
